"Cutting Into The Future"

"State-of-the-Art" Company Culture

At Hunt and Hunt Ltd. we constantly review new technology as it comes available. We have recently purchased several new multi-axis machining and multi-function mill turn centers and a 3D Laser Machining Center.

When we do not see a machine that meets our customers needs, we design, develop and build our own, such as we have with our custom rotary laser machining centers.

We remain focused on the future and supplying our customers with quality through state-of-the-art equipment and well trained employees. We maintain an aggressive Research and Development policy and our steadfast dedication to advancement in machining technology and total customer service helps us maintain an unparalleled competitive edge.

Machining Technology Advancements
Keeping pace with the latest machining technology we have made several recent equipment acquisitions including multi-axis 3d, tubular and flat stock laser machining centers, and several multi-axis mill turn centers. These are "extreme" multi-function machines affording our customers the very best that the "machining world" has to offer.

Square tubing, round tubing, curved panels... whatever the engineer designs, we can machine it. Most "extreme machine" manufacturers are supplying 3d integrated programming software these days. Fully functional models in the material of choice shortcut the design deployment process, providing a faster development to market window for our customers. Once we machine a prototype, we are ready for high volume production.

Manufacturing facilities have to engage "extreme technology" to master cost and quality. Below we have featured some of our more recent "extreme machine" acquisitions and custom development.

Laser Machining
Mazak U44 Space Gear LaserWith the recent addition of a Mazak U44 Space Gear we are now capable of 7 axis 3D laser machining. This new laser machining center augments our capability to help customers realize reduced new product implementation time, tooling, secondary operations and production costs for complex parts.

We now have 9 laser machining centers including 7 custom units specially designed for high volume long tubulars such as used in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Okuma Multus B400
Okuma Multus B400The Okuma Multus B400 is an advanced 5-axis mill-turn center with a work piece capacity of almost 28" in diameter by 61" in length. This machine can fabricate the most difficult parts such as stabilizers with helical wings, helical pump rotor shafts and almost anything you can imagine within capacity and reason

Okuma designed this intelligent multitasking machine with an advanced collision avoidance system, reducing the time needed to write programs involving the simultaneous interpolation of multiple axes.

The production power this machine brings our customers is reduced tooling, setup and runtime for fairly large complex components used in many industries.
